Anuradha Paudwal, born on October 27, 1954, is a celebrated Indian playback singer renowned for her work in the Hindi cinema industry. Throughout her illustrious career, she has earned the titles of one of the most prominent Bhajan singers and one of the highly successful playback artists of the 80s and 90s era in Bollywood. Paudwal’s talent and dedication have garnered her numerous accolades, including a National Film Award, four consecutive Filmfare Awards from 1990 to 1992, and two Odisha State Film Awards. In recognition of her outstanding contributions to the field of arts, the Government of India bestowed upon her the prestigious Padma Shri, the country’s fourth-highest civilian honor.

Paudwal’s impact on Indian devotional music and the Bollywood industry has led to her being affectionately known as the “Bhajan Queen” and the “Melody Queen.” Her remarkable achievements extend beyond her musical prowess.
