Although he didn’t get a chance to bat in the second innings, his contribution was crucial in India’s declaration at 430/4.

The fourth test at Ranchi witnessed Jurel’s stellar performance, defining his impact on the international stage. With a gritty 90 runs off 149 balls in the first innings, he anchored India’s batting amidst challenging conditions. In the second innings, Jurel’s partnership with Shubman Gill proved pivotal, steering India to victory with a resilient unbeaten 39* off 77 balls.
