Repalle Shiva Praveen Kumar, born on 23 November 1967, is a distinguished former officer of the Indian Police Service who left an indelible mark on the educational landscape of Telangana. He served as the secretary of both the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) and the Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TTWREIS). Praveen embarked on his academic journey in veterinary science at Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University, where he had the privilege of learning under the guidance of esteemed professors, including the renowned Professor T. D. J. Nagabhushanam. He was part of the esteemed Indian Police Service batch of 1995. His thirst for knowledge led him to pursue a master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University’s prestigious Kennedy School, where he was honored with an Edward S Mason fellowship.
